Sweet Spiders: Eight-Legged Treats Enamel Pin Collection

Thanks for making my first crowdfund such a success since we met almost all goals!! I think dango will be unlocked via surveys/preorder store too. Here's their final design:

Mostly we swapped the lighting because we realized I had left-side lighting for everything else, since she did the digital art for these ones Elena defaulted to right-side for sketch since that's what she did with most of her pins. We also made the eyes bigger (the eyes will be the only enamel) and swapped recessed hearts with printed stars. There's another version of highlights though that's just glossy, can you vote in the poll below on which you prefer?



They'll have the same backstamp as the moths ("Cryptic Midnight")!

If hanami dango are unlocked as hoped for, their set of 3 is a possible part of random grab bags of 5 and 10 pins. I'm considering doing the gradient gummy candy moth (2nd place in poll) as a freebie for 10+ pin backers since there's a few of you, so they would get both freebie moths and any other freebies they qualify for

Thank you again, this is really exciting and helps me so much in building inventory so I can properly launch a shop too!! I'll send surveys around the end of this month once I'm shown how to use the pledge manager and it's set up. Apparently it's extremely complicated... Pins will be paid at the same time as Elena (Midnight Springs) since they're being made together. Might just figure out how to pay for dango upfront and limit their available pledges so they don't get overclaimed?

Getting ahead of myself but for next pins I'd like to do something related to gems!

Also: There's 13 errored/failed payment backers at over $500 total, please fix when you can! It might not've told you the payment didn't go through, so if you're not sure you might want to check so you don't "lose" your pledge/what you reserved

There's 2 things I did with Midnight Springs for our campaigns: adjusted the funding quantities, and finished the dango concept! So what that means is Caramel Apple is unlocked! Bonbon will now unlock at $3,000! I'll update the rest of the goal amounts in the description now.

The other thing is the dango. From the start we wanted it to be a set of 3 and not just 1 pin of them stacked! But I wound up not having energy to finish it because of work and then Colossalcon so it wound up being a collab, and this is a WIP of them:


I was thinking just having them separate would be nice, but this chain idea is hers. If this gets unlocked during (from reorganizing) or after the campaign we can offer it as just a set of 3 and also with an add-on of this chain. To make sure it wouldn't tarnish, the star charm would be from her jewelry manufacturer since she has to order Elfling's hearts from there anyway. The chains would be 2 separate sizes so that one is big enough to connect the pins (the posts have to be able to fit through). From the added bulk you'd need to use locking backs to attach these to fabric or an ita bag or something, but should be fine sticking on a normal pin board as-is if you want to! The chain add-on will probably be another $10 and I'd include 3 locking backs, has to be hand assembled at home and we don't know yet the cost of the star but would ballpark based on her existing quotes.

Each dango would be 25mm like Blueberry!! So if you got the chain it would still only be around 4" tall to stack them with it!

Hi, Caramel Apple (and the sticker version) is added a bit early for pledges!!! It unlocks for real though at $3,200 🍏🕷️

I'm finding out the complaints of the notification system here are true, there was a post asking about having an option to back all spiders at once that I didn't see until I checked later out of curiosity if there were any discussion posts.

I did add one after thinking about it, with a disclaimer that if all of the 6 in the image aren't unlocked, you'll still have to choose a total of 6 from the ones that have been, but I still think we'll get there!


The cost is based on early bird pricing but discounted a little further, instead of based on blind bag pricing because these aren't random. Otherwise though, this update by Midnight Springs explains why she suggested I also format my first campaign mostly with the pins being per choice and not bundled.

If the strawberry milk tea and the dango idea we're messing with (Midnight Springs has an idea to make the set of 3 have a way to connect and also separate) get unlocked also then they'll be add-ons or their own separate tiers for people to choose from. The dango set is planned to be $25-$30 anyway since it's 3 pins 🍡 we'll try to coordinate that design over the weekend even though we're at Colossalcon for her business

Caramel apple will be available to pledge for at $2.7k just as originally planned, thanks for voting to confirm most people did actually like how it was already set up! So we're only $200 from that!

Also, by request the moth inspired by hard candy that's free for backing 5+ spiders is now available as an add-on, for anyone who doesn't want that many spiders

Strawberry milk tea boba does come after cherry bonbon still as a bonus for if we get there, so I just added it officially to the bio. (I added more info about the moth too, somehow I left that out before...) The only other planned design after that is a 3-pin hanami dango set if we unlock all by the end!
